One of the great events of the festival is the MiHaven Mareeba Tour consisting of two days of action packed cycling sport. Gone Riding Media acknowledges and thanks Cairns Cycling Club for the opportunity to photograph the event.

 Time Trial:

This year the time trials moved to a new sponsor and venue Jaques Coffee. Gone Riding Media photographed a mix of the Mens A & B Grades.  We used a "panning" tequnique to capture many of the images to excentuate motion and speed.

The mens A grade time trial  was taken out by Ben Lawes (16) from Townsville Cycling Club in a handy time of 11mins 45sec, second was Kaito Levieille (11) - Cairns Mountain Bike Club in 12mins 1sec   and third Zac Ryan (19) Townsville Cycling Club 12mins 4sec

Mens B Grade was an all Cairns Cycling Club affair with Matthias Wust (27) first 12min 42sec, second Adrian Cartlidge (33) 12min 47sec and third Greg Hutton (25) 12min 58sec.

Jacques Coffee, 137 Leotta Road Mareeba is a must visit destination when holidaying in FNQ
